To those non-members who are visiting this site, please consider joining Florida Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (FRID). As a FRID member, you will be supporting a statewide effort to initiate, sponsor, promote, and execute policies and activities that will further the profession of interpreting and transliterating.

Avoid paying a late fee!

      Fees, Dues, and Assessments

      “In order to remain in good standing, a member must pay annual dues in advance of the  first day of July of each fiscal year…Dues are in arrears on July 31st of each fiscal  year…the Board of Directors may determine and assign the payment of a reasonable late  fee and reinstatement fee…” 

      The current late fee is $25.00

Don’t allow your QA and/or EIE to be terminated!

Avoid paying a reinstatement fee!

      Termination of QA and/or EIE Levels 

      “Non-payment of Dues/Fees: Non-payment of dues or maintenance fees within sixty (60)  days of the due date results in an invalidation of screening, and individuals thus forfeit   all rights and privileges of such status.”

      Reinstatement following Termination for Non-Payment of Dues/Fees or Resignation

      “Upon application for reinstatement and payment of any dues or fees outstanding and  reinstatement fees as determined by the FRID Board of Directors, membership and/or  QA and/or EIE Levels shall be reinstated.” 

      The current reinstatement fee is $25.00.
